My mother been took me to this place since the 80’s. It moved across the street many years now. Even with all the changes around, the food still the same and even some of the servers are the ones I remember when I was little. The most original food!

The best tasting authentic Mexican food in TJ! There is often a long line outside to get in, but people don't mind waiting. Why? Because the food is nothing short of amazing and it's very affordable. Each item on the menu is priced separately - they don't have any combos or meals, so you pick what you want. Almost everything on the menu including a variety of tacos and other related foods using tortillas cost less than 1 each. A big bowl of red pozole, their specialty, costs 3.50, and it's a meal. In short, the food is delicious and it's cheap.

When you just want a bowl or a cup of pozole this is the place. Tostadas , Tacos dorados flautas sopes all is worth the travel to Tijuana.

Best tacos dorados I've tried. My only complaint is the small space inside and the poor organization of the place. But it's really about the food for me though.

One of the best places to eat traditional mexican food. We had to wait for couple minutes. But it was worth it
